Hello Brujas! Welcome March!!! Closer to spring and another week that I’m back to post another blog, cementing this practice a bit more, which is exciting!

These past few weeks I have been working extremely hard on finishing my Herbalism certificate from Rootcraft Herbalism. I finally finished it this past week and I could not be happier!! It was a 9 month Intensive curriculum and it took me exactly 10 months to go through the entire thing. I was digging in every day which means other certificates had to go on the back burner! Now that I am finished with this class, I can jump back into my 200 HR Yoga certification which I’m half way through and finish that one! Yay!! This is essentially my retirement plan because its how I plan on spending my late years… doing yoga, making art, and getting stupid baked. Ha!

After that, I will continue my education pretty much forever. I have a few Death Doula classes I would like to complete before I jump into a certificate for that, I am taking a mushroom identifying class in April, and of course I’m still researching so much for my Brujería class, which will be offered here soon! Also, diving back into photography slowly but surely after months of feeling unable to create very much. Yesterday, I did a photoshoot and today, maybe I will have time to do another one… more of a still life type of shoot. Been loving those lately!

It’s the beginning of March this week and a few events happening in the skies! As always on the first of the month, don’t forget to blow cinnamon through your doorways to bring in abundance. It’s really a simple ritual. I suggest to meditate for at least 5 minutes, and if you’re a cannabis user… definitely elevate yourself, if you want. Then get your cinnamon (1 tbsp should do) and with prosperity, abundance, and maybe even protection as your intention, stand at your front door, pour the cinnamon in your hand, and you can do a chant before you blow it through the frame of your door. Something to the effect of “As this cinnamon makes its way through the entrance of my home, so shall prosperity, abundance, and protection”, then blow your cinnamon through. This is such a great ritual to do every month and because I like to add body movement to every single ritual, after blowing it through, I like to do a slow but rhythmic spin right where I stand as I call on abundance, prosperity, and protection. Definitely good to add if you’re not easily embarrassed that your neighbors may watch you do a little dance in front of your open door all alone. Lol. Good time to let your fucks fly away, I guess. I think at some point its extremely liberating to be an eccentric and just let your weirdo flag fly high and fuck what anyone else thinks… am I right?

Astrologically speaking, lots of movement in the cosmos above us. If you didn’t know, Mercury started in retrograde on Feb 26, 2026 and it’s gonna spend its entire retrograde in the sign of Pisces. Which as always, means we watch our communications and how technology behaves, but with it being in its entirety (until March 20, 2026) in the sign of Pisces, what does that mean? Well, Pisces is a water element sign that is deep within its feels and mercury being the planet of thought and communication, it may be a tough time with these two battling between feelings and thoughts. It can just get confusing & a bit messy.

However, looking at the upside it could be a good time to check in with yourself and make sure that both feelings and thought get reconciled a bit. Do you feel like you’re a bit lost and not knowing how to get back on route? While Mercury may be your technical guide, Pisces can connect you with your intuition and help you follow it. Pay attention to your body’s cues, pay mind to your emotional reactions, and stay flexible.

On 3/3/2026 the Full Moon will be coming in and bringing with it a Total Lunar Eclipse. A total lunar eclipse is often called a Blood Moon due to its red color. This will be visible in eastern Asia, North America, and Oceania. The total Lunar eclipse will take place in the sign of Virgo which is an earth sign and it is all about organization and stability, but she can be too much of a perfectionist. So, this is a good time to re-evaluate your habits. Are there any self draining or sabotaging habits that need to be changed? Are you holding on to outdated habits that no longer serve you? Let them go. Let’s realign ourselves and move with a stronger, more confident step. There’s a chance to overthink everything, so let’s also give ourselves a bit of grace in that regard.

A lot of people don’t like to work with eclipse energy. Some deem it to chaotic or unmanageable to work with. Being a Witch, to me, means that I manipulate energies. It’s literally the thing Witchcraft was created to do, if that makes sense. I am not going to shy away from working with an energy because it is chaotic. What kind of energy worker does that make me? A safe one. And while some say we are too shy, or advised to stay away from this energy, I tend to work with these energies to add and amplify my magickal work. I harness it and put it to work… or at least, I try. Will there be mistakes? Absolutely. Will it sometimes be unmanageable? Oh, yes, most definitely. But that is what witchcraft is about. But I digress. I’m not going to tell you to work or not work with these energies. You do as you will in your practice. What I am telling you is, that it is possible to work with these energies. It’s possible for you to become so powerful that there’s no energy, chaotic or not, that you cannot wrangle. As for myself, I will be charging water to use in spells, charging tools, and I have a spell in the works. Also, I like to read tarot during this time as well.

I don’t know if you noticed but this will all be happening on March (the 3 month), 3rd, 2026. So I looked into the significance of the number 3 in Numerology. The number 3 tends to be upbeat and engaging number set to thrive in such environments (upbeat and engaging). It has so much zest for life. It’s most valuable skill is communications and it embraces unique thinking & creative expression, so let’s make sure to tap into that as we’re re-evaluating our habits. Maybe we can come up with a creative way to change bad habits into better ones. That being said, the number 3 can also be naive and unfocused… so take breaks when needed to help you stay focused and on task.

In Tarot the number 3 is linked to The Empress. She is a beacon of creativity, fertility. A source of life and she encourages you to also embrace life, its natural beauty, and the artistry of everything around us. To me this seems right on schedule with Spring being just around the corner as we start to awaken from our deep slumber to encounter the rebirth of nature. Embracing the zest of life as we birth renewed into the world.

I hope this week is an excellent one for you. That you move forward in any endeavor you are looking to accomplish. That being said, let’s listen to ourselves and our vessels. If we need more rest, let’s give that to ourselves. The world is heavy and carrying the weight of everything is detrimental, especially if you have any sort of empathy. We continue to be resilient… we continue to move through this world hopefully helping each other out and that way we can all grow. Except Nazis…. fuck those guys. Right in the ear.
